Process Engineer

We are working with an excellent client in the Framingham area of Massachusetts whom is looking to make an immediate hire for a Process Engineer to help with the documentation and improvement of production SOPs for product manufacturing at their facility. • Primarily, review mechanical assembly operations for activation panels and controls and conduct gap analysis with current print and work instructions.
• On a daily basis, work with operators, Supervisors, Process Eng, Design Eng and Quality Eng personnel to resolve conflicts.
• Revise work instructions accordingly using Word and Visio and enter it into PDM Works doc control.
• Assist in training operators on consistent and safe assembly techniques.
• Look for opportunities to improve safety, quality and efficiency of processes.

Working knowledge would be helpful in:

• Office
• Visio
• EDA systems – specifically JD Edwards. Someone with a mechanical aptitude to identify and suggest options to fix issues and a good communicator to be able to comfortably work with operators engineers is preferred. A manufacturing line was brought up from another facility and lacks the documentation and SOP's required to make it run efficiently This person would work with operators on the floor and to improve and sometimes create SOP's need a background in mechanical assembly and to be a problem solver - Someone with hands-on mechanical aptitude.
