Summary
We are currently searching for an Accreditation & Assessment Coordinator to join our Clinical Psychology Psy.D. Program at the Los Angeles Campus. This position reports directly to the Clinical Psychology PsyD Department Chair.
Responsibilities
* Collaboration with the Department Faculty to support completion of self-study for submission to the Commission on Accreditation in Fall 2016 * Assist in the management of the self-study timeline and workflow * Assist faculty with writing sections of the self-study document as needed * Preparation for APA site visit (e.g., manage document access, arrange workspace for the site visit team, coordinate schedules during the site visit, etc.) * Participation in the Clinical Psychology Program meetings and “A Team” Meetings * Participation in department-level strategic planning related to acreditation processes * Organization, review, analysis, and maintenance of documents needed for self-study, including but not limited to: student performance data, syllabi, book lists, abbreviated CV’s for faculty, curriculum documents * Collection, management, maintenance, analysis, and reporting of proximal outcome data such as comprehensive examinations for self-study * Collection, management, maintenance, analysis, and reporting of distal outcome data such as alumni survey for self-study * Ensuring consistency of content across multiple institutional and departmental documents * Ensuring consistency between all sections of the self-study (i.e., tables, appendicies, etc.) * Reviewing, editing and proofreading self-study document * Providing support to Director of Clinical Training on tasks related to assessment of students’ performance at training sites * Providing support to Director of Clinical Training on tasks related to assessment of the quality of training students receive at Clinical Training Sites * Participation in site visits of practicum sites to help ensure proper oversight of the training of our students * Embodying the mission, vision and values of The Chicago School. * Adherence to all confidentiality requirements. * Other duties as assigned by Department Chair related to seeking accreditation by the American Psychological Association
Ideal Candidate
* Two or more years experience with APA self-study process * Knowledge of CoA requirements and related guidelines * Two or more years in a leadership role in an academic setting in psychology * Five or more years as a member of psychology faculty (associate rank preferred) * Experience managing program assessment data for accreditation * Doctoral degree in psychology or relevant area of study * Strong organizational skills * Demonstrated ability to manage and edit large documents with multiple authors * Exceptional writing skills * Ability to remain calm under pressure * Ability to manage multiple aspects of the project with multiple deadlines while meeting or exceeding expectations * Ability to developconstructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time * Ability to think critically to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems * Ability to communicate ideas and information effectively * Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, needs, and demands * Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself in respectful and ethical manner * Computer Proficiency * MS Office Suite
