Administrative Coordinator

Tesla is accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable transportation and electricity consumption by designing and manufacturing electric vehicles and energy storage systems. Based in California, Tesla employs more than 13,000 people across four continents, and manufactures cars at our factory in Fremont, California.

Tesla is one of the fastest growing companies, along with our success comes a mass amount of internal and external data that needs to be processed and reported daily. Our fleet team is in search of an administrative coordinator to assist with Tesla’s most important strategic assets; its internal fleet of Roadster, Model S, and Model X. This coordinator will be responsible for the completion of existing projects in need of attention.

* Work with multiple internal/external stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project are covered (Department of Motor Vehicles, Accounts Payable, Toll Entities throughout the United States/Canada and Fleet Operations) * Development of a tracking system capable of documenting violations internally and producing automated notifications for violators * Coordinate with internal IT teams to create a workflow for capturing license plates as they are registered and sold * Utilize multiple internal systems to research origin of violations * Daily contact with external vendors * Effectively communicate with the field locations while tracking progress and areas for improvement

* 2+ years of professional experience, bonus if it’s in an international or start-up environment * Basic level MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Able to understand and improve workflows while offering advice to steer toward desirable outcomes from the perspective of the entire organization * Comfortable working confidential environment
