Radiology Technologist Lead

* Reporting to the Director and/or Supervisor, the Lead Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is a working team leader responsible for radiological care to patients of all ages, and takes the lead position for a predestinated shift. * Must have working knowledge of conventional radiographic principles and science with the ability to take responsibility for the shift performance and quality of studies. * Must be able to operate all x-ray equipment and process studies. * Assures the preparation of the exam room, equipment, supplies and medications for patient’s procedures and is responsible for patient education. * Able to precept Imaging Students during designated shift. * Must have experience as a fully qualified in Radiology, CAT Scan and all fluroscopy and Special Procedures. * Must have a working knowledge of computed and digital radiography systems.

* Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology * 3 years experience as a Diagnostic Technologist * Current BLS for Healthcare Providers. * Must be licensed and hold current certification in Radiologic Technology(RT) by the State of California, Radiological Health Section, Department of Health, must be licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), must posses California Fluoroscopy permit and CT certified (CT).
