* Medical Assistant assists the physician with office procedures including but not limited to: vital signs, PAP smears, suture removal, minor surgeries, obtaining laboratory specimens. * Performs EKG’s, holter monitor applications, PFT’s injections, ear lavages and HHN treatments. * Is responsible for patient flow in primary care. * Stock rooms, order supplies, clean exam rooms and equipment on a daily basis. * Medical Records Clerk scans and batches documents into electronic medical records. * Assists patients with obtaining medical records. * Sends chart information to hospital and other facilities as requested in keeping with HIPAA.

**Medical Assistant Required:** * AHA BLS card, one year prior experience in a physician’s office or hospital setting preferred. * Strong computer and verbal and written communication skills. * The ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with physicians and staff and patients and to understand patient’s rights and responsibilities. * CA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) preferred. * Medical Records Clerk Required: Good customer service skills. * Promotes positive co-worker relationships through teamwork and cooperation. * Understands and supports the needs to individuals in other departments and promotes conflict resolution. * Shares information, work knowledge and experience with co-workers, physicians in a non-threatening manner. * Offers assistance and promptly responds to requests. * Preferred: High school graduate or equivalent.
