PHP Software Engineer

Tenable Network Security is looking for a qualified individual to join our Internal Development team. The translation of PHP-based business functionality from internal systems to NetSuite and/or Salesforce will be a key exercise in addition to the development and maintenance of internal and external PHP-based systems.

Key Responsibilities: * Development and maintenance of existing systems such as ZenCart and Moodle in addition to Tenable's proprietary PHP-based systems * Migration and conversion of Tenable PHP-based code (including customer data) to NetSuite and/or Salesforce * Collaboration with management and/or fellow programmers to ensure requirements are implemented correctly and efficiently * Documentation of internal requirements and solution sets as applicable * Other duties and projects as required

* 5+ years of strong PHP coding experience in a LAMP environment (including using an SSH shell) in addition to HTML, XML, and CSS proficiencies * 3+ years of SQL/MySQL experience, include creating custom queries of multiple data instances, views and stored procedures * Extensive knowledge of SOAP and/or REST development * Agile/iterative development methodology and ability to acclimate to quickly changing project requirements * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline preferred Familiarity with PHP-based systems such as ZenCart, Magento and/or Cerberus highly desired * Bachelor's degree in CS (or related) or equivalent work experience.
