Summary

This position exists to manage the creation of corporate content align with the corporate market strategy to support and enable lead generation, event, brand awareness and nurturing efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with corporate, field, and product marketing organizations to develop and coordinated the creation and implementation of various marketing materials across organizations
  • Leverage market data to develop content themes/topics that educate customers and other target audiences
  • Coordinate with key stake holders to develop and coordinated the creation and implementation of premium content (white papers, case studies, solution studies, etc)
  • Work with subject matter experts on content and topic development as well as creating a sustainable blog pipeline that supports our strategic efforts.
  • Provide a strong skill set with writing, editing and language arts. Provide copy writing support for various campaigns and efforts company wide.
  • Coordinate with the social media on various content marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Track and report on content campaign progress.
  • Support ad-hoc request for various pieces of copy or content.
  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to standards for quality and performance, as measured in terms of editorial guidelines, usability, business metrics, SEO goals and production efficiencies
  • Maintain editorial calendar, content inventory and other documentation
  • Establish work flow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing and retiring content
  • Supervise content creation teams (contractors, freelancers or other external resources); ensure timely resolution of issues and oversee integration of new contributors
  • Coordinate editorial integration across multiple experiences and distribution channels including syndication, lead gen, advertising, social and more
  • Contribute to the editorial vision and brand strategy of the business
Ideal Candidate
  • 5 to 7 years of marketing, copywriting or editorial experience required
  • Strong copy writing and editing skills
  • A strong understanding of how content management systems work and the ability to quickly and efficiently post articles online. (Expression Engine, Word Press)
  • Demonstrated interest in digital marketing, content marketing, user experience, online advertising and search engine optimization strategy and execution
  • Experience with and interest in developing and maintaining an active team of freelance writers and editors, and providing assistance with assigning, editing and revising written collateral.
  • Experience in managing external vendor relationships
  • Creative with a solutions-oriented focus
  • Highly motivated with a sense of urgency
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • An understanding and familiarity with online performance metrics.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects, people and resources in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic environment
  • Tech Savvy individual with experience with technical software tools such as (basecamp, asana, dropbox, salesforce.com)
  • Organized self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic
