Resident Engineer

* Manage SD card part delivery to vehicle builds – mastering, data duplication, validation and shipment * Be onsite at the OEM customer and support various vehicle program activates * Responsible for part number management within the GM system OEM production system * Coordinate communication meetings between Telenav Inc, Partners, Suppliers and Automotive OEM * Network with resident engineers and other stakeholders in the eco system * Apply soft skills to get work done * Plan material logistics to support Vehicle events * Plan and track hardware component validation * Lead PPAP documentation effort * Support software integration testing and triage and tracking within GM systems * Interact with Vehicle manufacturing plants and support their needs * Provide on-site support for vehicle build events, update test benches and vehicles with software application and data * Initiate system requirement change or engineering change requests in OEM proprietary software * Provide day-to-day support to OEM engineers * Take notes in meetings and track action items to resolution * Coordinate with key stakeholders to participate in technical breakout discussion * Assist with specifications update * Maintain required Info 3 Navigation calibrations input with DRI ICE tool

* Bachelors Degree with relevant experience * Experience with PPAP processes preferred * Resident experience at an Automotive OEM preferred * Supply Chain experience preferred * Knowledge of SD card or other types of non-volatile memory preferred * Hardware component validation experience preferred * Software QA experience preferred * Supply Chain experience preferred * Experience as a liaison with partners, suppliers, customers preferred * Experience with assembling electronic hardware preferred * Experience with Automotive head units and infotainment systems preferred * Experience with networking – CAN, Automotive Ethernet.. preferred * Experience with vehicle diagnostics and simulation preferred * Navigation experience preferred * Work experience in Automotive or mapping preferred.
