Research and Development Engineering Technician

Provide technical support for the R&D engineering group including setup, debugging & troubleshooting new equipment and processes, tooling support, implementation of statistical process controls and training of manufacturing personnel. Assist in troubleshooting production line problems.

* Provide assistance during Verification & Validation of new equipment and processes for the R&D group. * Develop protocols and reports to support R&D efforts. * Troubleshooting new tooling and equipment issues and resolve for the R&D group. * Train manufacturing personnel on new equipment & processes. * Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex’s Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards

**Education / Experience Requirements:** * Technical College degree preferred **Specialized Skills & Other Requirements:** * Medical Device plastics experience in extrusion or injection molding. * 3 to 5 years experience preferred. * Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word & Excel required * Strong attention to detail * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities * Ability to solve problems and analyze data * Ability to think and work independently but also work well in teams
