Summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Systems Administrator to support of NORAD-NORTHCOM on Peterson AFB. This candidate must possess a Security + or higher level DoD 8570 certification. Candidates in possession of an active secret clearance are preferred, however TEKsystems can process a secret clearance for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading (technical SME) for multiple projects; includes designs, installations, deployments, and operational acceptance
  • Provide in-depth knowledge and technical expertise in the areas of design, installation, maintenance, and support of network infrastructure following established methodologies and processes
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining/updating technical documents (SDP, RDP, SVAT plans, BOMs, diagrams, etc.) and ensure they developed and adhere to strict output specifications, meet project requirements, and written at an high engineering level
  • Responsible for generating and coordinating Change Management (change requests, authorized services interruptions, etc.) activities as required
  • Evaluate vendor products and recommend purchases consistent with the organization's short and long-term objectives
  • Provide Tier II and Tier III support for Microsoft Windows enterprise environment
  • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot Windows 2003, 2008 and 2012 server environments
  • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot group policies, active directory, certificate services, Radius, SCCM, SCSM, SQL and DNS
  • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot XMPP solution such as Openfire
  • Maintain and manage VMware Products including ESXi and vCenter
  • Provide knowledge and technical insight in the areas of Windows server, VMware products, and group policies, etc
  • Project Management or Project leadership experience
  • Candidate should be available to work rotating after-hours phone or site on call support

  • 6 years experience administering Microsoft 2003 and newer servers.
  • 6 years experience working in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory (AD), DNS, and Certificate Services (CA); including creating, managing, and troubleshooting Windows group policies (GPO).
