Responsibilities
* Perform installation, problem detection, resolution and maintenance on the following software, Microsoft (MS) Server 2008 R2 and newer, MS Active Directory (AD), Group Policies, MS Office SQL 2005 and newer, MS IIS 6.0 and newer, MS Windows 7 and newer, MS Office 2010 and newer professional products, Internet Explorer (IE) 6.0 and newer. * Monitor, maintain and inventory; network infrastructure, network systems and components, system administration, and desktop systems with associated peripheral equipment. * Respond to respective customer base and chain of command written and verbal communication. * Possess the skills necessary to oversee, perform and respond to Remedy helpdesk tickets and monitor created Remendy tickets as necessary for proper documentation. * Apply patches, updates and upgrades to servers, workstations, and stored images
Ideal Candidate
Qualified Candidates must have an active Secret Clearance & Security + CE Certification **Basic Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred * Two or more years of experience with computer systems or networking * Experience working with computer hardware for installation and upgrades * Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures * Experience working with file and system maintenance procedures **Other Qualifications** * Six (6) years experience in operating systems programming and/or analysis with more than one (1) operating system and/or network operating system. * Three (3) years experience working independently on highly complex operating systems analysis/programming projects using programming languages/utilities for more than one (1) operating system and/or network operating system environment. * Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work * Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems * Communication skills for to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Top Three Skills:** Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Windows 7 Troubleshooting
