Sr Data Architect (Oracle DBA, Informatica Architect, Big Data)

Have you ever worked in the role of a DBA on a data warehouse or transactional environment? Have you designed an enterprise level data warehouse from modeling tables to implementation? Do you have hands-on experience writing complex PL/SQL in an Oracle 10g or higher environment? Do you have experience working in a cloud based or Hadoop environment?

• The Senior Data Architect provides a leadership role for all Technical team members including Data Architects and Developers.
• Develops models, designs and strategy for data bases within a Oracle or MS/SQL environment.
• Adheres to and designs a program that follows a standard System Development Life Cycle approach.
• Provides expertise for the future growth of the Data Warehouse and Analytic product environments to ensure stability and performance.
• Performs highly complex tasks and brings unquestioned competency to systems administration duties required to support distributed computing environment in a highly available manner.
• Provides direct support to internal staff to evaluate and implement new technology and promote the effective and efficient use of computing resources.
• Will manage IS technical project initiatives, provide planning expertise and mentor other technical staff.
• Main areas of responsibilities are: data architecture, develop code, leadership, project management, system configuration and testing, and technology review.

• Eight to ten years' experience that includes logical and physical data modeling in a large data warehouse environment with a database architecture.
• Proficient in both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle and hands-on experience with Informatica ETL tools.
• Experience with complex systems integration and experience with industry standard data modeling tools.
• Working knowledge of various operating systems including Windows and Unix.
• Experienced in creating highly available systems, leadership skills and ability to mentor and train other technical staff members
