Structured Cabling Estimator

• Preparation of comprehensive labor and material estimates for Voice & Data Networks.
• Design/engineer low voltage pathways, conduit systems, and structured cabling systems.
• Work in conjunction with preconstruction sales teams.
• Coordination with material Manufacturers and Representatives.
• Coordination/Management of sub-contractor scopes/bids.
• Management/control of bid documents.
• Maintenance/Tracking of Estimate Log.
• Able to preform in time sensitive situations to meet tight deadlines.
• Additional Duties as determined by Ops Director.

• 5 – 10 years’ experience with Structured Cabling and Low Voltage Systems design, engineering, estimating and installation.
• Awareness of NEC Code, local code(s), and EIA/TIA/BICSI Standards.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently as well as a part of the team.
• Depth of knowledge with a wide variety of cabling materials and methods of installation.
• Read and understand Telecommunications plans and specifications (Division 27000 and 28000) as they relate to the structured cabling work.
• Computer literacy required.
