Technica Corporation has a great opportunity for a Storage Engineer in Pocatello, ID.

The Storage Engineer will evaluate, engineer, design, build, test and document new storage and enterprise SAN infrastructure systems, as well as provide Tier IV troubleshooting for the existing operational infrastructure. The candidate will play a key role in various storage infrastructure initiatives, and participate in the development of strategy and standards for the storage environment.

**Required Qualifications:** * 10+ years of overall IT experience * 5+ years of relevant experience with various storage and Microsoft environments * Ability to gain a TS/SCI clearance and pass a CI polygraph. * Extensive experience with high-availability Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) platforms, utilizing vendor products such as EMC, NetApp and Hitachi, IBM, etc. * Experience designing, configuring, provisioning and troubleshooting of storage infrastructures, specifically in a large-scale enterprise environment * Experience evaluating, engineering, recommending, and/or deploying new storage solutions **Desired Qualifications:** * Experience working with third party vendors to quickly escalate, resolve and deliver root cause analysis on storage related issues * Experience leading and participating in storage infrastructure upgrade and migration projects * Experience integrating new storage technologies * Experience designing, configuring and executing data center to data center replication and recovery solutions * Excellent writing skills to develop System Requirements Specifications, System Design Documents, Critical Design Review Briefings, Product Assessments, etc. **Certifications (preferred):** * Storage certification(s) from NetApp, EMC, Hitachi and/or other storage vendors
