About Technica

Technica Corporation was started in 1991 by two engineers, Miguel Collado and Bill Groah, who envisioned a company where Information Technology business professionals and engineers could come together and build solutions that make a difference. Initially, Technica primarily provided professional services and products to national and global commercial telecommunications carriers.

Summary

Technica Corporation is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to directly support a government customer with basic project analysis and project management support on various IT and software development projects.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for creating and updating presentations
  • Gather and document requirements of projects
  • Participate in meetings and generate appropriate project status updates
  • Maintain and report on project financials
  • Make necessary inputs and corrections under management direction to ensure accurate reporting by established deadlines
  • Produce project staffing forecasts
  • Track and document project change plans
Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience providing project coordination and/or project analyst support
  • 3+ years' experience gathering and documenting customer requirements, project status updates, memos and meeting minutes
  • Effective verbal and written communications, including preparing and delivering presentations and artifacts to customer management
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and initiatives
  • Ability to synthesize input/data and quickly develop customer deliverables
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Must be flexible and creative to continuously reprioritize and focus on driving customer results through value-added solutions

Desired Additional Skills and/or Certifications:

  • Experience working in a large, enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with or interest with software development projects
