Software QA I

Team Focus Insurance Group has been serving the property and casualty insurance industry for seven decades. We trace our roots back to 1946 when MacNeill Group was founded as Frank R. MacNeill and Son.

Responsible for performing tests on Software as a Service (SaaS) application, will create test cases, test the application, analyze test results and deliver a high quality product.

* Design, develop and execute detailed test scripts and test cases using test plans and project specifications.Create Manual test cases * Create Automated Test Cases * Perform both new functionality and regression tests; identify, analyze and report issues for follow-up * Report defects found in testing using the defect tracking toolConduct Test Plan Reviews, Test Case Reviews and Code Reviews for Automated Testing. * Participate in Requirements Review * Participate in daily technical standup meetings * Participate in Releases from QA to UAT and from UAT to Production

* Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in related disciplines. Master's degree is a plus. * 1-2 years of software testing experience in a professional working environment * Experience working on multiple projects both independently and as a team member is mandatory * Experience with SQL and Databases is mandatory * Must be hands on with Test Management and Functional testing tools. * Good understanding of SDLC and all the testing methodologies * Familiarity with IBM Tools and Products such as WebSphere and DB2 * Testing Experience in a Java Environment * Experience Testing in a SaaS/Cloud Environment * Experience with Kanban methodology * Insurance industry experience * Knowledge of Webservices and APIs
