Summary
Traditional marketing methods are ignored, consumers want to engage with content that matters to them. We work with the influencers who create that content, real people sharing real stories. Influencer Marketing has emerged as the most effective and powerful channel in the marketing mix. To keep up, we’re looking to expand our own internal Marketing team. Our content is critical to our success, and by the way we market to marketers. Yes it’s a little meta, but it’s no easy task. There is a lot of noise out there right now and we’re looking for a senior content writer who can cut through it all like a hot knife through butter. Responsibilities
* Development of content for digital assets including eBooks, infographics, slideshares, and industry whitepapers. * Authoring blog posts, emails, and landing pages in support the demand-gen campaigns. * Ability to support product marketing and sales enablement content to ensures a consistent voice and value proposition throughout the buyers journey * Desire to create something bigger than yourself through collaboration and respect of other team members in order to build the business.
Ideal Candidate
* 5-7 years professional writing experience including both short-form content and long-form content. * Willingness to share writing samples and/or a portfolio of work. * The ability to be a natural storyteller. We don’t like marketing speak and our voice is knowledgeable, conversational, and at times provocative. * Comfort working on tight deadlines. We move fast because the industry moves fast and we lead the industry. * Appreciation of customer-centered content. No one cares about us, they care about how we help them. * Demand-gen understanding of how to build campaigns that engage and deliver value in order to increase our audience. * Attention to detail. Beyond spell check, basic grammar errors are not cool by anyone's standard. * Experience with Hubspot (or other marketing automation tool). * Experience with Wordpress. **What we mutually agree on:** * That you understand the art and science of copy. Our voice is consistent and engaging, leading to a trusted relationship that delivers on our goals. * That you grasp the interdependence of each channel. From social conversations to thought leadership whitepapers, the ability to create a story and make it meaningful across every channel is critical. We repurpose often and optimize quickly to deliver value at every touchpoint.
