Tantalus provides a multi-purpose Smart Grid solutions platform for Advanced Metering, Demand Response & Distribution Automation.

Responsibilities
  • In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering and implementing customer contracts, as well as ensuring that Tantalus meets or exceeds expectations.
  • As the primary point of contact, you will provide day-to-day oversight of TUNet deployments at customer sites.

Specifically, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan, execute, monitor and control projects from initiation and commissioning through to delivery;
  • Support customers in solving complex problems, as well as provide training and technical on-site support;
  • Provide leadership to multiple parties to define requirements, establish system design, coordinate deliveries and report to customers;
  • Oversee systems integration and utilize subcontractors, when required; and
  • Regularly review and report on project performance to management and other stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
  • Our ideal candidate will have a Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Computer) and 5 years experience working in a customer-facing project management role. In addition, you must be an excellent communicator and have demonstrated ability to deliver presentations to senior management.

  • A PMP designation is considered an asset, as is experience with any of the following:

  • AMI/AMR, RF or Wireless communications;

  • Implementing and integrating information systems;
  • Implementing or operating large telemetry, control, or communications systems;
  • Deploying communications equipment and networks.

  • This role will perfectly suit a self-motivated and results focused individual with the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team. Computer proficiency and strong attention to detail is essential, as is the proven ability to trouble-shoot and make sound decisions. Ultimately, your success in this role will be determined by your ability to meet long-term project objectives.
