Talascend is currently seeking a Data Entry Specialist for a contract opportunity located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Responsibilities
A Data Entry Specialist is responsible for consistently entering information into a data system. This is a mostly seated position. Other responsibilities include: * Carrying one 30 to 50 pound carton to/from the pallet up to 20 feet in distance to the computer every 5 to 7 minutes; * Pulling individual medical records from storage boxes, identifies the required data fields from each file, and then enters the information into the database for that particular client; and * Performance is continually measured by the number of keystrokes.
Ideal Candidate
* One year experience of heavy keying; * Must consistently have 100% accuracy with high frequency keystroking (10,000 KPH) and be able to complete testing; * Must be able to carry cartons that weigh 30 to 50 pounds every five to seven minutes with a distance of up to 20 feet; * Must be able to lift and lower cartons to/from pallet and to/from workstation; and * Protective footwear that meets ASTM F2413-11 Standard Specification for Performance Requirements for Protective (Safety) Toe Cap Footwear and have a slip-resistant rating designated as better or best job.
