Summary
TK Holdings, Inc., a major division of a worldwide supplier of safety systems and devices to the automotive industry, has an immediate need for a Payroll Specialist at our Kernersville, North Carolina office.
Responsibilities
* All payroll functions for multi-state payroll for 2000+ employees, including data entry and basic accounting * Administration of incomes and deductions such as Child Supports, Garnishments, Tax Levies and Bankruptcies – comply with the Federal and State laws regarding withholding deductions and make sure the payments are to the courts by the deadline date (Create A/P Check Request) * Month-end and annual payroll reports * Processes – biweekly and monthly payroll cycles. Compiles payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, 401K and relocation expense reports * Analyze changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, additional tax withholding, insurance coverage, and loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records * Informs Human Resources when data within the HR/Payroll system is not entered correctly * Processes the payroll for the Expatriate, Inpatriate and Mexico Commuter population (International Payroll) * Payroll System Closes which includes the General Ledger Close – Monthly, Quarterly and Annually * Annual processing of W2’s which includes the distribution * Analyze tax deposits on a monthly basis to prevent tax penalties and assessments. * Analyze tax wages on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis prior to processing the close procedures for the month, quarter and YTD * Provides each locations Accounting Department (queries) on Labor, Cash Disbursements, Employee Expense and Employer Liabilities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis * Assists the Payroll Manager with projects within the payroll department * HR/Payroll System Help Desk (assist the HR/Benefits users with Infinium questions/problems)
Ideal Candidate
**Job Requirements** * 2-4 years payroll processing experience * College degree preferred, but not required * Certified Payroll Professional Certificate or Fundamental Payroll Certificate (preferred but not required) * Proficient in Excel * Job Requirements * Experience with Kronos, Infinium/AS400 and Showcase (or similar) * We are focusing our search for candidates residing in or near the Triad area. * We offer an impressive compensation/benefits package, including health, life, and disability insurances and much more.
