Summary
We’re looking for a dedicated, service oriented Technical Support Engineer to provide top-of-the-line service to its clients. The position will require troubleshooting complex web and backend technology issues. The Support Specialist will work closely with the various teams throughout the company, including R&D, IT Operations and Professional Services; becoming an invaluable source of information, solutions and know-how. The Technical Support Specialist will also create problem solving tools and will be expected to transfer technical knowledge to other tiers of support, making work flows smoother, smarter and constantly improving.
Responsibilities
* Serving as the local tech point of contact for the business * Ongoing technical support, working closely with the business teams internationally * Solve technical problems on the product side * Case study and analysis of data in order to understand problems and find solutions * High level of Multitasking and prioritizing * This is NOT AN IT ROLE.
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 1 year experience working within a tech environment. * Bachelor's Degree preferred, will accept equivalent professional experience * Experience working in a Technical Support team at a high tech organization preferred * Deep knowledge of internet technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, various browsers, troubleshooting experience) a plus. * MySQL experience – comfortable reaching into a database to explore an issue - a plus. * Experience supporting web products a plus. * Analytical abilities and familiarity with data * Good understanding of internet protocols: http request/response, cookies etc. - an advantage * Impeccable communication – both written and verbal skills * Superb personal skills - ability to work both alone and with remote teams. Independent, responsible and reliable * The will and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and learn, learn, learn!
