Production Artist

A sportswear manufacturing company has a need for a Production Artist to join their team on an ongoing freelance basis. The primary responsibilities of this role include creation and over-sight of all b2b catalogues, look books, inspiration books and power points, working closely with both the footwear and apparel merchandising teams to create sales collateral, and presentation materials that drive brand direction. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively as part of a creative team, and be extremely detail oriented. This role is not designed focus.

* Create and over-see all b2b catalogues, look books, inspiration books, and power points * Work closely with both the footwear and apparel merchandising teams to create sales collateral and presentation materials that drive brand direction Release three catalogues every two months and one catalogue weekly * Use in state-of-the-art software to produce accurate and innovative graphic design * Demonstrated experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Keynote, After Effects, iMovie, Flash, ActionScript, XHTML, CSS, and XML * Other duties as assigned

* 4+ years of experience in graphic design * Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Computer Graphics, Multimedia, or Illustration Portfolio demonstrating excellence in graphic design and creative thinking * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to function effectively as part of a creative and energetic team * Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines * Working knowledge of a variety of media and production methods * Strong familiarity with photographic, print, and production processes
