Senior Test Engineer

Highly technical and critical test engineering position in a dynamic NPI environment. It requires early engagement with design team to review DFT and define test plans. Candidate will be responsible to create characterization and mass production test hardware and software for high speed SerDes and SoC ASICs using Advantest PS1600 tester platform. Candidate is expected to engage with bench validation team and use lab bench equipment to correlate ATE test programs. Candidate will be required to create test patterns by using and modifying existing scripts and need to have experience with converting simulated test patterns to the target tester format using industry standard pattern conversion tools. He/She will be involved in collecting and analyzing characterization data for new products, debugging test setups, analyzing RMA and improving production yields.

* BSEE * 5 years of test engineering experience * Strong experience on Advantest PS1600, C400 ATE platform. Experience with J750 is a plus. * Programming languages as C, C++. scripting languages as PERL * Experience with creating PCB schematics * Experience with pattern conversation tools as Vtran and Simutest * Strong communication skills * Experience with lab equipment as power supplies, high speed digitals scopes, and signal and clock generators * Knowledge of high speed SI and how it relates to PCB design
