Senior Manager for Hardware Tools

This person will lead and grow a global team of microcontroller tool chain developers in infrastructure projects and applications. This person needs to be a hands-on technical leader with excellent interpersonal skills, motivating the team, and directly contributing to the projects. With experience in compilers, simulators, debuggers, assemblers, linkers, etc, and a vision for excellence and practical end user experience, this person will extend the current portfolio of tools with an eye on performance, power consumption, and code size of generated firmware.

* Manage and implement infrastructure related tools such as compilers, assemblers, linkers, and libraries. * Work with firmware and systems teams to enhance the current toolchain portfolio * Managing diverse run environments ensuring tool consistency across Linux, Windows, and Cygwin, etc.

* BS or greater, preferably in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or a related field * Minimum of 10 years’ experience in software toolchain development * Experience working on the internals of at least one and preferably more of the following: * Compilers * Simulators * Debuggers * Assemblers * Linkers * Related infrastructure tools and scripts/makefiles
