Senior NetSuite Systems Analyst

Synagro Technologies, Inc. provides waste capture and conversion services to municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities in the United States. The company provides a system of solutions for civic and commercial organizations that recycles industrial and municipal waste, as well as organic by-products into environmentally sustainable resources.

The NetSuite Systems Analyst is the member of the Information Technology department and is specifically responsible for the support of NetSuite ERP and related functions in the environment. The Systems Analyst will focus on continuing to drive value back to the business through process improvement utilizing the functionality of the system.

* Participate in the design, development, implementation and support of the NetSuite ERP system. * Understanding the requirements of the business and related work processes. * Work process improvement through work elimination and automation * Configuration and testing of the NetSuite ERP System * Creating and maintain work flows and related functionality to support reporting and dashboard functionality. * Troubleshooting system functionality when results are not as expected * Engaging and coordinating with the vendor and outside consultants for support on projects and initiatives. * Training end users on system functionality * Defining and maintaining roles and role based security * Maintaining and Supporting data integrations with the NetSuite platform either through direct connect or CSV integrator.

**Education** * A bachelor degree in business or related field is strongly desired. **Experience** * Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting and implementing NetSuite ERP system * 3 or more years supporting and implementing a major recognized ERP system from SAP, ORACLE, NetSuite, Workday, Plex, or similarly situated global vendor is strongly desired. * 3 or more years’ experience working on a project team implementing ERP functionality in a similar or larger sized company. * Working in an IT department or other capacity supporting a major ERP package, tracking metrics, troubleshooting problems, and supporting end users. **Skills** * Understanding of the core financial and project accounting modules of NetSuite. * Understanding of manufacturing process is strongly desired. * Demonstrated understanding of financial work processes of General Ledger, Chart of accounts structures, Accounts Payable and Receivables processes, Month end close, financial reporting, balance sheets and income statements. * Understanding of Asset management (fixed assets) and parts/items management. * Demonstrated understanding of project accounting, establishing budgets and tracking costs, and related resource utilization reporting. * Understanding how to configure custom records, fields, drop down lists, saved searches, and dashboards * Understanding of how NetSuite integrates with other cloud provider systems. * Understanding how to import data and perform data transformations within NetSuite using CSV integrator. * Familiarity with using SuiteScript scripting language. Proficiency in this area is not required; however an understanding of how to read and troubleshoot established scripts is desired. Proficiency in this area is a plus. * Basic project management skills of documenting scope, developing requirements documents, developing work break down structures, estimating time, tracking issues, and performing change management activities is required. **Licenses/Certifications** * Any NetSuite certifications are a plus * Certifications in a project management discipline is a plus (PMP, CAPM, Scrum, Agile)
