Summary
Swirl is seeking an IT Support Tech to help support our rapidly growing agency. This a great opportunity for anyone looking to get a start in the IT field. We are a fun-loving, hard-working group of people who check their egos at the door. We love technology, so you will, too. In this position, you will be one of the on-site personnel for all things IT Support related, from troubleshooting desktop issues to setting up AV for meetings and presentations.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot desktop PC and Mac issues * Prepare A/V capabilities for presentations * Keep detailed inventory of hardware and software up to date * Maintain printers and consumables * Monitor logs and backups * Other duties as outlined by the IT Director
Ideal Candidate
* Comfortability both PC and Mac hardware and operating systems * Familiarity with Linux a plus * Able to troubleshoot end-user desktop issues * Prior IT support experience in a networked environment a plus but not required * Possession of a CompTIA A+ certification a bonus but not required * Motivated and self-directed, able to successfully complete tasks with minimal supervision * In the regular course of your duties, you will be expected to move computer equipment; you must, therefore be able to comfortably lift objects weighing as much as 50 pounds. * Willingness to be “On call” for support issues as needed * Some night and weekend work may be required * Most of all, you should enjoy working with technology AND people. Especially the people.
