Summary
Swirl is seeking an Ad Operations Specialist to join our quickly growing Media team. This role will support global enterprise B2B tech brands that are consistently looking to push boundaries in the digital marketing and tech space. The ideal candidate will have a proficient understanding of performance-based online advertising campaigns and be comfortable working in correlation Media Strategy, Analytics, and Biddable teams. This person will play in integral role in the successful implementation of campaigns in a way that continues to drive client success and revenue growth for the agency. He/She will contribute to improving the quality of client data, playing a critical role in ensuring on time, accurate media trafficking, data implementation, optimization and data extraction for analysis.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for initial account set-up and technical integration with new platforms * Toggle between multiple campaign management platforms * Ensure accuracy of both internal and external dissemination of campaign information * Update any existing campaigns as needed * Manage monthly review of live campaigns for standardization opportunities and asset or technical updates * Efficiently manage high volume of ad serving, effectively measuring, optimizing and reporting on performance * Work with media strategy, creative, and analytics teams to ensure all materials are correctly entered into third party ad servers using agency best practices * Review MAFs and IOs as entered into Media Ops portal and flag discrepancies between contracted, earned and billed amounts * Work with Media Ops and Media Strategy teams to understand media plans and ad trafficking requirements
Ideal Candidate
* 1-3 years of experience in advertising operations * Bachelor’s Degree * Experience with technology platforms like Doubleclick, Flashtalking, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and familiarity with HTML and javascript, a plus * Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; someone who strives to improve process * Detail-oriented, even-tempered personality with clear communication skills * A problem-solver who brings answers and ideas to the table * Highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks and requests * A skilled diplomat who brings passion and drive to each aspect of their job * A discipline to bring rigor to the process; with healthy dose of flexibility as required for success * Strong command of MS Office Suite, especially in Excel * Experience working within DFA and Flashtalking
