Yard Supervisor

Sun Coast Resources, Inc., has been in business for over 30 years, owns and operates 17 offices located in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Sun Coast currently has over 1300 employees. Sun Coast’s product line includes a wide array of petroleum products including gasoline, diesel fuel, marine diesel, jet fuel, avgas, kerosene, DEF and a full line of Chevron lubricants and many other name brand lubrication products. We purchase our fuel directly from major refiners, with delivery to our customers

* Responsible for the overall successful operation of the Fuel Island, Lube Island and Washbay * Interpret and enforce safety regulations, company policies, procedures to employees * Oversee incoming and outgoing lube products at the Lube Island * Maintain accurate inventory records of lube products in the Lube Island * Supervise and manage employees including hiring, training, planning, assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems * Plan daily schedules and maintain records for verification * Recommend measures to improve efficiency and orderliness of departments * Establish and adjust work procedures to meet demands as dictated by schedules and work flow * Keep work areas clean and safe * Other tasks as assigned by manager

* Valid class A license with hazmat/tanker endorsements * Knowledge and experience working with lubricants preferred * Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Outlook (for email correspondence) * Must be computer savvy and able to learn new devices quickly * Must have good, accurate typing skills * Good written and verbal communication skills * Ability to stand for long periods at a time and work outside in extreme hot or cold temperature * Excellent communication skills across all levels of employees and management * Strong organizational skills
