Tools and Pipeline Engineer

Sucker Punch Productions, L.L.C. was founded in October 1997, and has steadily built its reputation by creating innovative, stylish, critically acclaimed character-based video games. Based in Bellevue, WA, the team recently released the third installment of the inFamous franchise, Second Son, a next generation super hero action-adventure, exclusively for PLAYSTATION 4.

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Tools & Pipeline Engineer to join us on our unannounced project. Our talented artists generate gigabytes of raw creativity, and you’ll be pivotal in turning that creativity into a spectacular game. Your work will cover the length and breadth of our pipeline, from Maya plug-ins through our asset creation process and into run-time features of our engine, and from graphical assets through animation and design and into visual and sound effects. Our tools and pipeline are crucial to creating a productive and collaborative work environment. * Understand the production process of our art and design teams, and identify opportunities to better address their needs and smooth their work flow * · Develop new features on our production pipeline, from editing tools through asset compilation and into our proprietary engine * · Analyze and enhance existing tools, and support the artists and designers using them

**Qualifications** **Bonus Factors:** * Five years of C/C++ programming experience in the games industry * Previous work experience on a medium-to-large team * Experience writing and maintaining user facing tools and interfaces * Experience with Maya C++ and Maya Python interfaces * Proficiency in animation and graphics assets pipelines
