Summary
We currently have an opening in our Fairfax, VA office for a Rail Vehicle Engineer for our T&I division. Individual will be an engineer in a vehicle practice providing engineering support service to transportation agencies.
Responsibilities
* Review of rail vehicle system and subsystem designs
* Development of technical specifications
* Design of rail vehicle components
* Inspection of construction or overhaul of railcars
* Oversight of maintenance activities
* Preparation of reports and correspondence
Ideal Candidate
* BS Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
* 7-15 years experience in the transportation industry (agency, supplier, consulting)
* Professional Engineer's License required
* Transportation Operations experience is a plus
