Project Accountant

STV is a leading, award-winning professional firm offering engineering, architectural, planning, environmental and construction management services.

STV, Inc. currently has an opening in our Douglassville or Philadelphia, PA office for a Project Accountant for our Transportation and Infrastructure division.

• Project accounting
• Project setup and revision
• Review and adjustment of time and exp. charges,
• Revenue recognition
• Complex billings of various government agencies and JV, WIP analysis and reconciliation
• Collections/AR reconciliation
• Consultant pay-when-paid activities and AP reconciliation
• Project closeout
• Ad-hoc analysis for various Project Manager’s
• The Vice President of Finance and the Senior Vice President of T & I Eastern Region.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 3-5 years’ work experience at Architectural / Engineering industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and meet monthly deadlines
• Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with the application BST is a strong plus. .
