Project Accountant

STV, Inc. currently has an opening in our Douglassville or Philadelphia, PA office for a Project Accountant for our Transportation and Infrastructure division.

* Project accounting * Project setup and revision * Review and adjustment of time and exp. charges, * Revenue recognition * Complex billings of various government agencies and JV, WIP analysis and reconciliation * Collections/AR reconciliation * Consultant pay-when-paid activities and AP reconciliation * Project closeout * Ad-hoc analysis for various Project Manager’s * The Vice President of Finance and the Senior Vice President of T & I Eastern Region.

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance * At least 3-5 years’ work experience at Architectural / Engineering industry * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Ability to multitask and meet monthly deadlines * Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems * Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. * Experience with the application BST is a strong plus. .
