Modeling and Simulation Analyst

Stellar Science is a computer software company providing leading-edge scientific software for its customers.

A Stellar Science Modeling and Simulation Analyst will be involved in all aspects of our application software life cycle, from marketing & business development to design, testing, documentation, and the customer interaction along the way. They will be working with management and the development teams to improve our applications and make our customers happy. We are looking for someone that has great verbal and written communication ability and stellar presentation skills. Someone that is eager to learn and excited to explore new domains.

Applicants may range from recent college graduates to experienced software engineers; the main requirements are that candidates be top-notch, responsible, self-motivated, honest, able to work well independently or in small teams, and be able to rapidly learn new tools, and techniques as needed to meet mission requirements.

• B.S. in physics, math, engineering, or a related field
• Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities
• Exceptional computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with software testing

Scientific analysis experience in one or more of the following domains:

• Space Situational Awareness (SSA)
• Image Simulation and Analysis
• Computational Electromagnetics (CEM)
• 3D CAD
• Image-based Meshing
• Directed Energy
• Lasers
• High Power Microwave (HPM)
• High Performance Computing (HPC)
• Modeling & Simulation
