Summary
Oversee the receiving of incoming raw materials, maintain accurate receiving (including records in Baan operating system), and assure the accurate deliver of raw materials to production floor. Resolve discrepancies and provide assistance to office staff and warehouse staff as required.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and participate in unloading and inspecting incoming raw materials and supplies and place into inventory. * Coordinate and participate in preparing, issuing, and delivering materials to production floor. * Return unused roll stock materials after production. Record remaining quantity by weighing unused stock and enter into inventory. * Assist office staff in researching and resolving receiving or issuing questions or problems and communicate the status of materials received. * In the Baan operating system, receive all raw material and job-related supplies and enter all raw material movement. * Maintain in an accurate and organized manner various other logs, records, and forms. * Operate forklift and/or related material moving equipment to designated areas. * Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Coordinate and participate with staff in performing general warehouse housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, emptying trash containers, etc. * Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performance of job duties. * Responsible for accurate cycle counts and inventories. * Act as backup to other warehousing staff. * Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic:** * Ability to safely operate a forklift and use a computer operating system to track inventory * Ability to communicate effectively with other associates, supervisors and managers * Ability to follow instructions * Ability to work as a team member and independently * Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments * Familiar with basic computer operations * Math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals are required to follow instructions * Ability to follow safety procedures * Ability to sit, walk, stoop/bend, kneel, squat, reach, drive (delivery of roll stock) * Exposure to dust, fumes, and/or gases **Preferred:** * High School Diploma/GED * 3 years of prior warehouse/receiving experience, including operation of material handling equipment. * Prior supervisory experience helpful

(7:00am - 3:30pm) 8-hour shifts: Monday - Friday
