Primary purpose of position is to install and maintain electrical circuitry and HVAC equipment maintenance. This position would also maintain our temperature control systems, our fire alarm systems & our security systems.

* This person would be working with 120/208/480 single and 3 ph voltage as well as low voltage control wires; so understanding of the National Electrical Code is required. * Percentage of job per type of work: * Electrical low and high voltage installation = 30% * Electrical low and high voltage maintenance = 40% * Plumbing = 5% * HVAC = 15% * General Facility Maintenance = 10% * Consequence of errors: Significant * Physical Demands of Job: Medium (over all) * Level of Exposure to Environmental Factors: * Regular exposure to electrical hazards, frequent exposure to elevated surfaces, Occasional exposure to hot surfaces, chemical agents, sharp tools, mechanical hazards.

**Education/Experience Equivalent (minimum requirements)** * High School graduate (or equivalent) **Professional Certifications / Licenses** * Licensed electrician in State of Iowa (preferred); or in pursuit thereof. **Professional Knowledge/Experience** * Previous experience in commercial or industrial electricity and/or maintenance **Other Skills** (e.g. specialized training, language proficiency, functional expertise etc.) * Knowledge of National Electrical Code
