Responsibilities
Ensure boxes are labeled and make sure day code stamp is correct. Check parts for quality Checks stack count to ensure each sub part is correct. Ensure correct combination of parts are packaged in accordance with published specifications. Make sure packer station is situated and organized for an efficient working area. Follow and maintain safety polices. Keep scrap and trash off the floor and in the proper receptacle. Other duties assigned by group leader and supervisor. **COMPETENCY** Possess good communication skills Must be detail oriented Must be quality minded Must be safety-oriented Able to work in a fast paced environment

Be able to stand in one spot for long periods of time with intermittent brakes. **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE** Must have a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and training with Work Keys Career Readiness Certification; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **LANGUAGE ABILITY** Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and work instructions. **MATH ABILITY** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers. **REASONING ABILITY** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instruction. **COMPUTER SKILLS** No Computer skills needed. **WORK ENVIRONMENT** The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Extreme heat (non-weather).
