Software Engineer

SRC, Inc. is a not-for-profit research and development company with more than 55 years of experience in defense, environment and intelligence. SRCTec, its subsidiary, offers manufacturing and life cycle management for complex electronics systems.

SRC is currently seeking a software engineer to design, develop and test leading-edge radar and communications technologies. We are looking for engineers to be immediately integrated into design teams to solve difficult technical problems for our government customers.

* Software design and design review participation * Software development and code review participation * Software/system integration and test * Field testing support with developed systems * Follow International Standard Organization (ISO) and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) processes for software and system development

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or software engineering and three or more years' of related experience * Applicants must have a minimum of Active Secret security clearance, TS/SCI clearance preferred * Internship experience preferred * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Experience with C# or Java required * Proficient with Windows and UNIX based operating systems * Experience with Python, C++, Matlab preferred. * Experience with Amazon Web Services preferred * Experience with OOD, GUI, databases, web programming, serial communications preferred **Security Requirements** An active Secret security clearance and current investigation are required.
