Summary
We are looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager who is passionate about drawing insights from data and research to help drive our overall marketing strategy and revenue growth. In this role, you will own customer analytics, revenue management, pricing, and customer research. You will work closely with the VP of Marketing and other marketing managers to help improve acquisition costs, increase customer lifetime value, drive pricing strategy, and track and forecast monthly revenue for SquareTrade’s direct to consumer business.
Responsibilities
* Develop models to predict customer lifetime value by acquisition source * Design a marketing mix model to effectively allocate marketing spend across acquisition and retention channels * Oversee customer research to identify the most effective marketing messaging for SquareTrade’s radio and TV ads * Analyze customer retention and continuation rates by product and work with Marketing, Product and Engineering teams to reduce churn * Make pricing recommendations and measure the impact to revenue and profitability of proposed changes * Manage and design reports to track weekly revenue by channel and customer segments * Determine how customers flow through various marketing touchpoints
Ideal Candidate
* Data-driven and analytical: you measure and optimize performance based on data * Hypothesis-driven and tenacious: you’re comfortable making assessments using data and refining your thinking through tests * Relentless in finding creative ways to provide insight * A proven problem-solver: you bring a new perspective to the table and are focused on results * An aggressive executor: you move fast and meet deadlines * BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Finance or a related field * 3+ years of experience in an analytical/quantitative role (marketing analytics experience desired but not required) * Working knowledge of SQL (or a programming language) a must! * E-commerce, investment banking or management consulting experience a plus * SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF WORKING @ SQUARETRADE INCLUDE... * Not feeling stuck!
