Financial Systems Analyst

The Squarespace Finance team is seeking an eager and intellectually curious Financial Systems Analyst, to join our growing New York team. You will partner with the FP&A, Accounting and other Squarespace functional leaders to coordinate, implement and maintain all financial systems and processes that ultimately impact our general ledger. We expect this Analyst to be a proactive member of the finance team with a focus on continuous process improvement for business area owners. You will also be responsible for coordinating data structure and process workflow changes to our IT systems to ensure synchronization with HR, Data Science and Data Engineering teams. The candidate should be high energy and proactively engage people across the company in a clear and concise way. * Owns end-to end data structure and workflow administration for all financial systems * Maintain master project plans for all IT changes/implementations of financial systems * Coordinate the linkage and drive the change management process for updates to internal IT systems that have downstream impact of financial IT systems * Perform analyses to provide insights into opportunities to implement / adapt tools to improve the speed and availability of financial data to end users * Create, provide and maintain training and content, including process flow documentation for all finance systems and ensure consistency of system application of processes across the organization * Work closely with senior management to define strategic investments required for future expansion and automation * Become a trusted partner and liaison between the Finance team and IT owners of other business systems (HR/Strategy/Engineering, etc.)

* 4 - 6 years experience in working with finance business applications * Exceptional project management experience * Acumen to synthesize business requirements and translate them into IT configuration requirements * Understanding of workflow and data structures required to optimize key business processes (i.e. Procure to Pay) * Exposure to financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting * Proven ability to work well in cross functional teams and develop strong rapport with senior and executive management * Strong personal integrity and work ethic * Experience with systems such as Netsuite (ERP), Coupa (accounts payable/expense management) and UltiPro (payroll) preferred
