Summary
Performs analysis of business processes and data that pertain to business issues. Provides reporting solutions and data metric analysis that may identify business trends and results. Utilizes data analysis to explain business issues and financial implications, recommend workflow improvements, or enable business unit to improve workflow processes. Works with various business units to accomplish objectives. Performs research and influences the strategy for the most complex reporting and analyses of information in reports. Serves as a project leader or project manager and has significant interaction outside of the work group. Data analysis, financial modeling and business case development expert. Proven C-Suite level presentation experience. Project, Program Management expert.
Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will identify strategy, support the execution of and track metrics against Sprint’s device procurement operations from concept through end-of-life.Performs analysis of large volumes of internal and market data to determine trends, other marketplace insights, and monitor performance of the Product Procurement team. Summarizes key findings and develops recommendations for senior management in order to optimize values within and beyond the daily operations of the Product Procurement organization. Maintains database and publishes weekly dashboard and regular reporting for C-Suite. Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders.Has the authority, willingness, and is expected to identify/implement opportunities for added value without oversight.Work within a matrix organization to understand device needs, the procurement process, financial impacts of the operation, surplus positions, and pro-forma views. Financial acumen to understand the tradeoffs and costs in various device operational areas. Strong creativity, detail orientation, and aggressive goal setter.Strong statistical skillset.Data Mining & Proficiency in SQL using Teradata.SQL, Access, Excel and PowerPoint power user.
Ideal Candidate
