Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will play a critical role throughout the accounting close process. The position will support the Director of Finance in the day-to-day accounting operations as well as carry out responsibilities leading up to financial statement preparation. The position will work closely with other departments and across all levels of the organization. We work in an open office environment where we strive to collaborate across business functions and work together as a team.

• Recording closing entries and assisting in the month-end close process
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Preparing and maintaining accurate journal entries using NetSuite
• Preparing and reconciling intercompany transactions, which includes foreign subsidiaries
• Compiling documents in preparation for audit related requests
• Completing ad-hoc reporting requests and special projects as assigned by the Director of Finance and/or Controller
• Compile and prepare preliminary compliance reporting package and other ad-hoc reports as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience
• Strong systems and process mindset
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Team oriented / collaborative / great communicator
• Strong Excel experience
• NetSuite experience a plus
