Summary
Premier metal stamping company in Bluffton, IN is now hiring experienced tool & die maker for 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
* Must be able to repair any die, fixture or gage.
* Run all toolroom equipment including mill, lathe, grinder, surface grinder, saw and drill press as needed.
* Trouble shoot sheet metal dies in the presses as well as in tool room.
* Complete all documents such as job cards, pm log book, etc.
* Operate cranes for trucks and lift trucks to move dies.
Ideal Candidate
* 3 to 5+ years experience in the tool & die trade or has proof of Journeyman Tool & Die card.
* Candidates with less experience, solid work history, machinist experience willing to be trained will be considered.
* HS diploma or GED required
* Strong math skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to lift up to 90lbs
* Must possess excellent trouble shooting abilities
* Able to run all toolroom equipment
* Experience with micrometers, calipers, profilometers, height gages, dial indicators, gage blocks and other equipment
