Digital Marketing Strategist

Spherical Communications is looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist to join our marketing team in NYC. This role will have a strong focus on SEO, while also working across social media, content marketing and website analytics. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of organic search, an analytical approach that stretches all areas of digital marketing, and a strong technical background. The ability to understand and write code, as well as use various platforms is essential. This role will includes technical site analysis, coding and working with developers to implement SEO and digital marketing strategy.

• Timely reporting client search metrics.
• Use reporting software and data sources for reporting and analysis. - Create data presentations that best communicate insights to clients.
• Comprehensive keyword research and analysis
• Assist development team implement search projects
• Handle ad hoc client requests in a timely manner

• Computer science or marketing majors preferred - 2-4 years of basic SEO experience
• Experience designing, coding and hosting sites
• Social media analytics experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of search marketing basics
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Natural curiosity and a creative mindset
• Knowledge of various Google technologies including Webmaster Tools, Analytics, and
• Google My Business
• Hosting and DNS knowledge
• Programming skills are a plus (Wordpress, PHP)
