Principal Substation Engineer

Spaulding Associates is a specialized search firm offering personalized service in the Power Engineering industry and for Software companies developing products for Cloud Computing, Network Security, Data Warehousing, Data Storage and Big Data solutions.

Looking for an experienced Substation Engineer; someone who has been a Project Engineer, who now wants to play a consulting role in leading small T&D teams and driving project growth. (seller-doer). This is an individual contributor role that reports directly to the T&D Manager. You will direct small teams of engineers / designers on various substation projects from small munis and industrial customers to large investor-owned utilities and IPO’s. * Technical design ability – electrical engineering for substations * Prior utility and/or consulting experience * Client interface – excellent communication skills

* BS Electrical Engineering (Masters degree preferred) * Minimum 7 years experience, 15+ years preferable * PE License preferred but not required
