The Social Media Coordinator for Spanx is responsible for maintaining the brand’s social media channels and telling a cohesive story across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. This role will be accountable for scheduling, posting and tracking all posts as well as engaging with the social media community. Through social listening, this position will also be the ear of the company, spotting trends, capturing insights and being able to quickly and readily react.
- Bring social strategy to life through engaging content and on-brand captions.
- Schedule, publish and monitor all social content, driving the art of storytelling across platforms.
- Collaborate with creative counterpart to turn ideas into engaging original content.
- Adhere to creative timeline and approval process for timely posts that mirror strategy.
- Connect with current and future customers by engaging with community, answering questions and solving problems.
- Spot trends and formulate insights across platforms using social listening.
- Leverage insights to inform future content so SPANX is consistently top of mind in relevant situations.
- Compile detailed reports with trends and analytics to influence future strategy.
- Expand influencer network through sharp knowledge of influencer landscape.
- Grow relationships with micro influencers to form organic relationships for future partnerships.
- Assemble and distribute product mailers for influencers, working closely with the PR and Creative teams to ideate a unique concept worthy of sharing.
- Assist in coordinating influencer events that amplify the message across multiple networks.
- Existing knowledge of the social media space with past experience in the field.
- Strong communication skills and sharp ability to think on the spot.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration skills in fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of influencer scene and ability to nurture relationships.
