Responsibilities
**Vendor Management:** * Manage daily individual supplier relationships as it relates to:Executing and delivering on all key TNA dates and development deadlines (fits, commit dates, production start dates, etc) * Costing and price negotiations * Communication of capacity planning / forecasting / seasonal projections * Review and challenge WIP reports * Review product QA inspection reports; Review/resolve issues * Communication of dropped styles within the development stage * Resolve vendor disputes – claims, RTV, fabric and trim liabilities * Onboard new vendors to Spanx requirements at each stage of development, production, packing and shipping **Cross Functional Team Communication:** * Partner cross functionally with Development team (PD, Design, Tech Design, Merchandising) to achieve product development milestones, margin goals, and to resolve issues as they arise * Lead weekly development meeting with cross functional partners * Work closely with Planning Coordinator on purchase order entry and updates as it relates to costing and ship date changes * Facilitate Vendor Set Up information: NDA, Mnf. Agreement and Routing Guide
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate should be adaptable in using their organizational skills to prioritize tasks and should be proactive in taking ownership of various projects. Candidate should have a sense of urgency in communicating internally and externally to complete assignments on time and with accuracy. Candidate should demonstrate an ability to anticipate busy schedules and head off potential issues for the greater team. Must possess openness while problem-solving and demonstrate integrity while dealing with vendors and internal team members. Must be willing to travel to domestic and international manufacturers. **Education/Experience:** * Minimum 5-7 years experience in production/sourcing role * Understanding of product development, production, garment construction and knit fabrics * Understanding of garment costing/elements of costing * Intermediate/Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel * Bachelor’s Degree * Experience with international travel to garment factories and fabric mills **Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:** * Strong attention to detail / follow through * Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally * Organized multitasking * Results focused * Strong problem solver and strategic thinker * Ability to provide cross-functional leadership in terms of calendar and problem solving; Influencing skills **Key Interfaces:** * International / Domestic Vendor Base * Supply Planning Team / Logistics Team * Development Team: Product Development, Technical Design, Design, Merchandising * Reports to Sr. Production Manager
