Engineering Manager

We’re looking for a humble, technically confident Engineering Manager to help us build our Payments team which is part of our Monetization engineering group.

* As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for developing a group of talented software engineers as they deliver key initiatives to grow our platform and technologies. * You value technical excellence, have experience delivering great products, and know how to add value by bringing out the best in others. * You want to see the business impact of your team’s work, and are excited to contribute to a platform that is used by millions of users.

* You have solid experience managing engineering teams as well as great acumen when it comes to stakeholder management. * Your technical knowledge enables you to accurately scope work and you possess a strong understand of most technologies in our stack. * Some of the technologies we use at SoundCloud are: Scala, Javascript, Ruby, Finagle, Backbone, React, ObjectiveC, Swift, Mysql, Cassandra, Kafka & Hadoop.
