Sodexo Leisure has a Unit Controller opening for Sodexo at CA Academy of Sciences. As a unit controller, you will be a hands-on working bookkeeper with direct financial oversight for this $8M prestigious multi-venue account. Manages all accounting and financial matters for large multi-size national account or a large complex single location account. Responsibilities include accounts payable/receivable, budget, payroll, reporting, inventory, chargeback's, etc. Responsible for accounting and financial reporting. Analyzes account budget(s). Performs financial analysis to assist decision making. Provides financial training for unit personnel.

* Preparing and analyzing all financial reports * Accounts payable/receivable * Cash control and handling * Cashier Audits & Training * Contract compliance and internal audits * Creating documents, reports and presentations

* The ideal candidate will have at least 3-4 years of financial/accounting experience in a lead role. * This position requires the ability to communicate on different levels and audiences both inside and outside of the unit. * Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a high pressure environment are key in this role. **Basic Education Requirement** * Associate's degree in accounting, business, finance or related field. **Basic Functional Experience** * 2 years in accounting, finance or a related field.
