This represents an increase of $0.08 per share, or 15.1%, over Snap-on's previous quarterly dividend of $0.53 per share.

Summary

This position, under the guidance of a supervisor, provides primary support of initial concept sketching, modeling, prototyping and development in order to create innovative products. Multi-project management and technical skills are used to bring new or improved products to the market while satisfying business unit goals, manufacturability requirements and customer needs. Project support responsibilities with close integration of engineering, marketing and product management while developing project plans, schedules, progress updates, expenditures and prioritization is required.

Responsibilities
  • Rapid conversion of concepts into actionable 2D and 3D representations.
  • Multi-project prioritization under the supervision of a manager.
  • Regularly interface with end-users to develop customer insights and, ultimately, new product ideas.
  • Execute on goals, objectives and project plans in line with business unit goals and customer needs.
  • Design and execute hands-on creation of 3D prototypes using rapid prototyping, foam, paper board, clay, steel, cast materials, etc. to communicate form.
  • Create “next level” prototypes capable of communicating form and function. Integration of electrical and mechanical systems and “looks like” finishes.
  • Contribute ideas on new products, product improvements, techniques and facilities.
  • Regularly review project plans, schedules, progress, expenditures and priorities to ensure goals are being met.
  • Regularly interface with engineering, marketing, and product management.
Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design required 1-3 years of experience in Industrial Design preferred
