Summary
User X-perience designers are held in high esteem here at SmugMug. SmugMug is seeking our next UX Design Superstar — someone who’ll bring their unique work/life experience, their passion for anything post-modern, and a wholehearted willingness to let their geek flag fly— all to strengthen our already awesome team of design demigods. Responsibilities
* Align with the Design team to ensure visual and brand consistency * • Communicate effectively with Product teams to understand or recommend scope and limitations * • Work closely with developers to ensure designs are built accurately to spec * • Design user interaction models, workflows and user interfaces for cross-device experiences * • Share and present workflows, wireframes, and designs across multiple teams * • Research and benchmark latest UX designs and standard practices * • Own, self manage, and deliver a project from wireframes, designs and through development
Ideal Candidate
* • 4 or more years of UX design experience * • Exceptional design skills, with acute attention to detail * • A Portfolio that communicates a clean visual design sense * • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite * • Strong working knowledge of Sketch and Invision * • Ability to take a product concept from wireframe to high fidelity design mocks * • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills * • Understand the visual and the functional aspects of Web/Mobile design * • Self managing problem solving A passion for photography
