Summary
New opportunity for a Validation Engineer in the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering group. This position will develop the validation plans and documentation associated with new equipment and processes across multiple projects including capacity expansion and New Product Introduction programs.
Responsibilities
* Develop validation plans and prepare documentation associated with new equipment and processes across multiple products, including capacity expansions and New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. * Develop pFMEA. * Develop test methods and conduct test method validation. * Collaborate with facilities across North America to perform process characterization and process validation activities. * Analyze data and make recommendations for improvements. * Perform engineering work requiring full competency in all conventional aspects of engineering. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and the substantial adaption of standard engineering techniques, procedures and requirements * Conduct engineering activities of moderate scope or degree of difficulty. * Perform assignments independently with limited supervision as to expected results. * Perform troubleshooting tasks as related to product problems. * Involved in preparation of documentation associated with engineering activities. * Coach and develop associate engineers. * Conduct testing for assigned projects. * Determine resolution of moderate technical issues as needed and assures that technical work meets specified requirements. * Contribute to corrective action development and alternatives. * Understands and follows requirements of SOPs *This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.*
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline * 1-3 years experience. * Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Ability to critically review and interpret technical documentation. * Ability to handle multiple priorities and to meet key deadlines under pressure through effective time management skills. * Demonstrated experience with lean principles. * Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills. * Demonstrated leadership capability in team settings. * Ability to work in a geographically diverse business environment. * Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects. * Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. * Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail. * Additional Information: Ability to travel potentially 25-50% both domestically and internationally.
